Spanish Colonial, Mexico, ca. 18th century CE. A rustic and timeworn santo figure carved from wood and set with haunting white glass eyes. Likely representing a crowned male saint or Magus, the figure wears a long robe with traces of original polychrome in red, green, yellow, and black, now faded and worn. Both hands are extended, possibly once holding devotional attributes. Heavily weathered from age and use, the figure shows insect damage, paint loss, and surface wear throughout, yet retains a strong presence. The expressive face and upright stance preserve its devotional character, and the remaining pigment hints at its once vibrant appearance. This piece would make a compelling addition to a collection of colonial folk art or rustic devotional objects. Size: 3" L x 4.3" W x 10.9" H (7.6 cm x 10.9 cm x 27.7 cm); 11.9" H (30.2 cm) on included custom stand.
