A gorgeous porcelain box adorned with Neoclassical decoration of a heavily gilt tondo containing a Roman bust on the lid and chain-link decoration around the exterior walls, all supported by gold-washed brass feet in Greek meander motif. A pair of gold-washed brass handles flank the octagonal vessel with additional gold-washed brass lining the top and bottom rims and forming the clasp. A beautiful box with historical significance; perfect for storing your jewelry or other precious items! Size: 4.8" L x 3.4" W x 3.6" H (12.2 cm x 8.6 cm x 9.1 cm)
