Mexico, ca. 1963 CE. This is a box carried by shoeshine man; made of wood covered in brass sheeting. The box was made to contain brushes, polish, and etc. The box is topped with a foot rest and decorated with multiple applied floral designs and shells (in brass), with small pearls inlaid on one side. Size: 13.5" L x 6.5" W x 11.5" H (34.3 cm x 16.5 cm x 29.2 cm)
