North Africa, Morocco, Islamic culture, ca. 19th to early 20th century CE. A fine pair of brass riding stirrups, each boasting an elegant silhouette with an arched, rectangular foot plate, wide, flaring sides and a curved shank that rises at the center culminating in a semicircular loop for the saddle straps. Size (both the same): 6.5" W x 8" H (16.5 cm x 20.3 cm)
