Native American, Alaska, ca. late 19th century CE. A charming hand-carved wooden model of a kayak with a separately carved wooden kayaker who fits neatly into the opening on the top of the craft. A handwritten note on the upper front reads, "Esquimo 1890" and "Bollim". Size: 6.55" L x 1.25" W (16.6 cm x 3.2 cm)
