Native American, Alaska, Inuit, ca. 19th century CE. A hand-carved wooden figurine of abstract form with a slender, dowel-form body, a minimalist head, and a pair of eyes shaped from inlaid blue resin beads. The visage features recessed orbitals beneath a gently furrowed brow, parted lips, and a notch below the lips to delineate the chin. Smooth patina has formed across the figure. Size: 7.75" L x 1" W (19.7 cm x 2.5 cm)
