Draped in a red dress and blue veil, the Madonna bows her head and places her hands together in prayer. Spiked rays line her periphery, while 4 petalled flowers adorn each corner of the image. A dark-brown, wooden frame surrounds the finely-painted piece. Size with frame: 13.7" W x 16.9" H (34.8 cm x 42.9 cm)

Provenance: ex-private Bishop Family Trust collection, the Trust of the late Bill Bishop, a noted antiquarian with shops in Scottsdale, Arizona and Allenspark, Colorado, USA, acquired before 2010
