A handsome, hand-carved, incised, and painted wooden shield with additional wooden elements attached with rattan and six clusters of animal hair emerging from the sides. An attractive symmetrical composition with a finely carved handle on one side. Finely carved and wonderfully adorned with an attractive geometric designs. Lovely patina. Size: 15" W x 31.5" H (38.1 cm x 80 cm)
