A handsome brass lantern/headlamp, possibly from a fire engine or carriage, with a round front face with glass, and a side rectangular glass panel. On top it is marked with "19 Manufactured by Gray & Davis Amesbury Mass. USA". Size: 6.65" W x 13.9" H (16.9 cm x 35.3 cm)

Provenance: private Long Island, New York, USA collection, collected prior to 2000
