Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 500 to 600 CE; Valley of Mexico, Teotihuacan culture ca. 1st to 7th century CE. A pair of wearable necklaces comprised of modern stone and bone beads with ancient ceramic pendants at the center - both heads from ancient Mesoamerican cultures. The Teotihuacan face has a slender triangular face with well-formed features, and the Maya terracotta has a grotesque grimace. Size of strand: 19" L (48.3 cm); head pendants: 1.25" L x 1.2" W (3.2 cm x 3 cm)
