Description:

East Asia, China & Japan, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A collection of vintage matching Chinese porcelain figures and a Japanese netsuke. The white surface is painted in a blue glaze, representing immortal figures - the woman might be He Xiangu and the man may be Lu Dongbin, the hilt of his sword protruding from over his shoulder. The netsuke is probably carved from resin and depicting a rotund man with a fan. Size of porcelain man: 1" W x 3" H (2.5 cm x 7.6 cm)
