A blue Saxon Porcelain Manufactory in Dresden "SP Dresden" mark first introduced in 1902 is visible on the interior of the tree trunk. The town of Dresden has been an important center for porcelain sculpture since the late 19th century. Founded in 1872, Dresden porcelain was known for creating luxury porcelain pieces like this example. Size: 11.5" L x 5" W x 8" H (29.2 cm x 12.7 cm x 20.3 cm)
