About the artist: "Garcia Vilella's artistic career dates back to his early years of training in Barcelona, ????where he studied at renowned artistic institutions of the time. His passion for art and his innate talent led him to develop a personal style that distinguished him in the artistic scene of his time. During the 1940s and 1950s, García Vilella became involved in the abstract art movement, exploring the expressive possibilities of shapes and colours. His work reflected a constant search for new forms of representation and aesthetic experimentation.

In the following years, García Vilella expanded his artistic repertoire and began to work in the field of engraving, exploring the creative possibilities of this technique. His engravings are characterized by their attention to detail, their visual richness and their ability to convey deep emotions. As his reputation grew, García Vilella exhibited his work in numerous galleries and museums both in Spain and abroad. His solo and group exhibitions gave him the opportunity to share his artistic vision with the public and to establish himself as a reference in the artistic panorama of his time.

Francisco García Vilella died on March 27, 2001, leaving behind an artistic legacy that continues to inspire future generations of artists and art lovers. His ability to break barriers and his commitment to artistic experimentation will determine him as a prominent figure in the history of 20th century art." (source: artist's website)
