Native American, Western United States, Northern California, Karuk, Hupa, or Tolowa people, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A hand carved recurved wood bow, with remains of the twisted cotton cord around one notched end. The inner belly and back of the wood is painted with bold red and black linear markings. Size: 29" L x 1.5" W (73.7 cm x 3.8 cm)
