Yankee Doodle Dandy (American, 20th century). A beautiful ceramic swag lamp made in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The lamp presents with an elegant egg-shaped pendant form and two hand-painted kachina figures with openwork through the feather headdresses, eyes, and clothing to allow the light to shine through the figures as well as below the pendant. The kachinas are painted in a lovely palette of aqua, russet, and black on a white ground. The interior of the pendant is painted a vibrant orange hue. A gorgeous hanging lamp fit with a generous suspension chain and a toggle switch to turn it on and off. Size: 8.5" in diameter x 11.375" H (21.6 cm x 28.9 cm) Size (cord + suspension loop): approximately 132" L (335.28 cm)

  • Condition: Hand-painted and openwork decoration are in overall excellent condition. Only minor surface wear. The lamp has a generous suspension chain with a toggle switch, and it works nicely as demonstrated in photos. Lamp also has a label on the interior that reads "Yankee Doodle Dandy Handpainted Ceramics Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87109".
