Latin America, Peru, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. An ensemble of four handmade clay musicians, each playing a different instrument and proudly standing upon an integral base, finely painted in hues of russet, chocolate brown, and white, with elaborate costumes comprised of white jackets with large russet applique buttons, brown pants beautifully adorned with floral patterns, and tall strapped band hats that also serve as candleholders. A wonderful piece of Peruvian folk art, perfect for any music lover! Size: 12" W x 12.875" H (30.5 cm x 32.7 cm)
