Native American, North America, Plains Indians, ca. first half of the 20th century CE. An attractive pair of deer hide moccasins made for a small child. Each moccasin is decorated with a beaded five-pointed star with red interiors, blue stripes, and outlined in white. The glass beads of translucent cherry red, cobalt blue, and opaque white hues are lane-stitched with sinew. Both moccasins have rawhide soles, a folded tongue, and thin laces. A lovely pair indeed! Size of each: 5.875" L x 2.5" W x 2" H (14.9 cm x 6.4 cm x 5.1 cm).
