Monica Moreno (Pueblo, active 20th to 21st century). Black-on-black jar, n.d. Signed on underside of base. A graceful pottery jar presenting a round yet stable base that spans out to a wide hip, a sloped shoulder, and a raised rim. Fired to a lustrous black glaze, the exterior features matte decoration of nested geometric motifs along the shoulder with a band of triangles extending downward from the hip. Size: 7.2" Diameter x 4.6" H (18.3 cm x 11.7 cm); 5" H (12.7 cm) on included custom stand.
