Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A free-blown glass double unguentarium intended to hold 2 types of perfume. The yellow-green cylindrical bodies are fused in the center and decorated with thin glass trailing, and a darker, turquoise-hued glass trail is applied around the peripheries to create the projecting shoulder handles as well as the arching bale handle. Size: 1.25" L x 2.75" W x 6.1" H (3.2 cm x 7 cm x 15.5 cm); 6.75" H (17.1 cm) on included custom stand.
