Description:

Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Guerrero, Mezcala culture (Balsas culture), ca. 700 to 200 BCE. A group of four jadeite pendants and one jadeite model of a table or pallet. One of the pendants is zoomorphic; another resembles a face, with a lightly raised nose and shallow incised lines forming a mouth and nostrils. Another is disc-shaped, while the fourth has a low groove horizontally across one face. All four of the pendants have a drilled perforation for suspension. Size of largest: 1.5" W (3.8 cm)
