Pre-Columbian, most likely Columbia / Ecuador, Tumaco-La Tolita or Sinu/Zenu culture, ca. 300 BCE to 1500 CE. Four terracotta stamps, two cylindrical in form, two disc-like forms with projecting conical handles. One cylindrical (with suspension holes) and one disc-shaped example feature a spiral motif, symbolic of long life to the indigenous. The smaller disc-shaped stamp with projecting handle features concentric circles, and the remaining cylindrical example is probably the most elaborately decorated, the cylindrical stem adorned with a pattern of striations and pierced circles; the round end featuring a face framed by two concentric circles. Larger cylindrical stamp measure: 1.25" L x .75" W (3.2 cm x 1.9 cm)
