Egypt, Ptolemaic Period, ca. 332 to 30 BCE; Central Asia, Bactria, ca. 100 BCE. A fine gathering of six mold-cast items from two distinguished ancient cultures. First is a Bactrian leaded-bronze pendant with an integral suspension loop and the head of a stylized bull on the obverse. Next are five Egyptian Ptolemaic bronze coins with gently sloping obverse peripheries that surround faint images of human faces. All six items are covered in layers of green and brown patina, and some exhibit vibrant, russet-hued patina as well. Size of largest (Bactrian bull): 1.3" W x 1.7" H (3.3 cm x 4.3 cm)
