A lot of ten American and British silver and silver-plated souvenir pieces, dating from the late 19th to 20th century. Included is a silver-plated pewter spirit measure or jigger inscribed "Just a thimble full," with a textured lower body and fitted leather case. Seven silver-plated nickel brass souvenir spoons commemorate the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, each handle featuring a bust portrait of Columbus, the dates 1492 and 1893, and the words "World's Fair City." The bowls are engraved with prominent exposition buildings, including the Art Palace, Manufacturing & Liberal Arts Building, Fisheries Building, Administration Building, and Agricultural Building, each labeled accordingly. All are stamped "Standard" on the underside. Size of largest (World's Fair spoon): 4.3" L x 1" W (10.9 cm x 2.5 cm); quality of silver in Boston spoon: 92.3%; weight of Boston spoon: 12.7 grams

The eighth spoon is a silver-plated nickel brass sugar or tea caddy spoon from Bath, England, distinguished by a slanted rectangular bowl and a crest at the handle tip decorated in red and blue enamel. The crest bears the British coat of arms with the motto of the city of Bath, "Floreat Bathon" ("May Bath Flourish").

The final spoon is solid sterling silver (92.3%) and commemorates Boston, Massachusetts. The handle depicts Paul Revere on horseback with "1775" and his name inscribed, along with "Bunker Hill" and "221 Ft." beside an image of the Bunker Hill Monument. The stem is engraved "Boston," while the bowl bears a view of Faneuil Hall with its name below. The reverse features the "Washington Elm Cambridge," a bean labeled "Baked Beans," and a barrel inscribed "The Hub." The back of the neck is marked "Sterling" with a maker's mark. A diverse and historically rich group that reflects American and British traditions of commemorative silver and the culture of souvenir collecting at the turn of the century.
