Near East, Levant region, Middle Bronze Age to Roman Imperial period, ca. 2000 BCE to 300 CE. A group of 9 pottery vessels, each with a single handle and narrow neck, fashioned for pouring and storage of oils, wine, or other liquids. The assemblage includes slender piriform amphoriskoi with elongated pointed bases, rotund jugs with rounded tapering undersides, and more globular examples with short, everted rims. As is typical of transport and utilitarian wares of this era, all feature bases that cannot stand upright on their own, instead designed to be propped in racks, stands, or packed together in storage. Each is presented with a simple acrylic or metal display stand for stability and display. Size of largest: 3.5" W x 8" H (8.9 cm x 20.3 cm); 9" H (22.9 cm) on included custom stand.

- Condition: No repairs or restoration. One has stable pressure fissures on the neck. Chips and abrasions throughout, but overall these are in good condition with mineral and earthen encrustations. Some have root marks and the remains of root plant matter on their interior.
