North America, United States, New York / Connecticut, ca. 19th century CE. A copper and brass gunpowder flask and a brass and leather shot pouch. The flask has a relief rabbit decoration, and the lead shot pouch is marked by the American Flask and Cap Company, which was established in 1857. Although unmarked, the flask may have been manufactured by the same company. Size: 7.5" L x 3" W (19 cm x 7.6 cm)

  • Condition: Leather is cracking and flaking on the pouch, otherwise good condition. Flask is fair condition, indentations and gaps between seams. Mouth piece is loose and missing a rivet. Heavy patina. Cotton cord might be factory original!
