**First Time At Auction**

Greece, ca. 5th to 3rd century BCE. A wheel-made redware vase with a thin, pronounced foot, a long neck, and a outwardly rolled rim. The body isof an inverted pear shape, peaking at the shoulder and tapering to the foot. This vessel was probably made to hold olive oil or some other precious liquid, with the thin neck used to prevent evaporation. Size: 2.6" W x 5.7" H (6.6 cm x 14.5 cm)
