A collection of 18 ancient hand-pecked and polished greenstone and jadeite beads from Central America - 17 are mottled greenstone and 1 tiny ear flare with the most vibrant green is a jadeite. The beads exhibit tubular, barrel, and rounded cuboid shapes that emphasize their verdant hues. The green color was desirable and symbolized life and fertility for Mesoamerican cultures. These beads are perfect for making jewelry or stringing as individual pendants! Size of longest bead: 1.4" L x 0.65" W (3.6 cm x 1.7 cm)
