**Originally Listed At $300**

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A beautiful pendant, crafted from ancient Roman glass inlaid in a contemporary sterling silver setting, and hung from a cord as a wearable necklace! The glass shard has developed a gorgeous iridescence in purple and light green hues, but was originally a semi-translucent pale green hue and formed part of a vessel's base- the slight outward curve of the bottom and slight concave (convex on verso) pontil mark from the blowing process. Size of pendant: 2.5" L x 1.5" W (6.4 cm x 3.8 cm); cord: 21" L (53.3 cm); silver quality: 92.5%; weight: 20.9 grams
