Description:

**Originally Listed At $300**

Greece, Archaic period, ca. 7th to 5th century CE. A semi-circular cast bracelet, made of a curved cuboid bar of bronze, with incised diagonal lines at the termini, delineated from the smooth body of the rest of the bracelet by a lateral incised line and two tall incised triangles. Bracelets like this one were markers of wealth and could be used as currency. The patina on this example is particularly fine, especially on one side, indicating that at some point it was exposed to oxygen on that side. Size: 3.9" W x 0.45" H (9.9 cm x 1.1 cm)
