Europe & United States, ca. late 19th to mid-20th century CE. A collection of 11 cameo jewels including brooches, pendants, and a ring, carved in shell and enamel and mounted in varied metals. Portrait cameos of classical women in profile, including a repousse brass piece, a large brass setting with a lady wearing a necklace, a petite gold-set brooch, a silver-mounted cameo with a filigree floral border, a large brooch depicting a charioteer in a leaded-brass setting, and a pink cameo brooch framed in a wavy scalloped leaded-brass bezel. Also a necklace with a cameo and blue glass inlay set within a gold-plated brass wirework frame, and a necklace with a large white cameo in a brass setting suspended from a brass chain. Completing the group are a 12K gold small pendant, a loose pale pink cameo awaiting setting, and a ring composed of nickel and leaded-brass elements. Size largest brooch: 2.3" L x 1.6" W (5.8 cm x 4.1 cm); significant gold content in pieces ranges from 15% to 51% (equivalent to 3K+ to 12K+); significant silver content ranges from 17% to 64%
Please note that several pieces have over a 10% lead content: the largest brooch with the charioteer, pink brooch with scalloped edge, and the ring.

- Condition: Fair to good vintage and antique conditions. Missing the pin on the pink brooch, some chips and small losses to the edge of the charioteer setting. Dark patina and toning. Some scratches and chips to cameos. Please note that several pieces have over a 10% lead content: the largest brooch with the charioteer, pink brooch with scalloped edge, and the ring. Most are wearable!
