Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Chancay culture, ca. 1100 to 1400 CE. A hollow terracotta figure of a male standing on tubular legs with short upraised arms with open palms, large upper torso, small phallus and testes, small set lips, protruding nose, rectangular eyes, wide brow, and wearing a spiked headband with four perforated holes. His body is a marbled palette of ash, citrine, umber, ruby, and wheat hues, while the colors of his face are noticeably split between natural terracotta and vibrant red. Size: 3.75" L x 7.25" W x 15" H (9.5 cm x 18.4 cm x 38.1 cm).
