A rectangular weaver's basket, finely crafted from thick, diagonally woven and plaited reeds over thin wooden slats, with an attached flap lid. Once serving as a functional toolkit for Chancay textile production, baskets of this type typically held spindles, whorls, and yarn used in weaving, and often accompanied women in burial contexts as symbols of their craft and status.
