Description:

**Originally Listed At $400**

Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Chimu, ca. 1100 to 1450 CE. A long, beautiful necklace comprised of dozens of miniscule pottery seed beads, with ten stylized miniature figure beads evenly spaced along the lower half. The central pendant is a quadrilateral spondylus shell fragment, opulent in appearance with a pale-gold tone, and is able to reflect a myriad of rainbow hues in the right light; the pendant has twin perforated suspension holes. This is a wonderful example of ancient materials in a modern setting, and is certainly wearable and stylish! Size: 15.375" L (39.1 cm); size of pendant: 1.625" H (4.1 cm).
