Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Chupicuaro, ca. 500 BCE to 300 CE. A set of 6 hand-built pottery "pretty lady" figurines, each presenting nude with displayed finery and applied pigment. Coffee-bean eyes, prominent noses, and parted lips comprise each stylized countenance, with 5 coiffures parted down the middle, and the last adorned with a pair of shell ornaments. Size of largest: 0.61" L x 1.61" W x 3.04" H (1.5 cm x 4.1 cm x 7.7 cm)
