A hollow tumbaga pendant or applique in the form of a fantastical lizard / bat creature with a forked tail, pointed ears, and a crest along his nose. Created using lost wax casting and hammering to shape the final form, this figure combines the elements of multiple animals considered sacred by the ancient Central Americans. Size: 1.75" W x 2.75" H (4.4 cm x 7 cm)
