Ancient Greece, Cyprus, Late Bronze Age, ca. 1200 to 1000 BCE. Skillfully wheel-formed, a thin-walled bichrome pottery cup, its form presenting a narrow base that bows outward, then tapers to form a corsetted shoulder, and rises to a short neck. The vessel is slipped in white with a band of added black striations and a thick zigzag at the center. Size: 3.875" in diameter x 3.5" H (9.8 cm x 8.9 cm)
