An eroded carved wood Cross River standing figure of a rough-hewn "art brute" style, with a minimally delineated body form and facial features, the carving probably representing an ancestral figure, nature spirit, or a divination figure, though difficult to determine as very little is known about the Cross River area. Custom stand. Size: 25.5" H (64.8 cm); 27.75" H (70.5 cm) on stand
