Description:

**Originally Listed At $400**

Western Europe, probably French or Belgian, ca. early 20th century CE. A fine pinfire revolver with a six-shot cylinder resting behind an octagonal barrel. The double action lock indicates it can be fired by either cocking back the hammer and pulling the trigger or simply by pulling the trigger without pre-cocking the hammer. A stop pin can be inserted into the cylinder to prevent accidental firing, and a hinged loading plate can be swiveled up to load rounds into the cylinder above the handle. The wooden handle has deep hues of brown and tan. A double-crowned U hallmark is stamped on the cylinder body, beneath the barrel, and on the stock just above the trigger, and a "2" is stamped on the front of the cylinder. Size: 7.125" L x 3.9" H (18.1 cm x 9.9 cm); (bore): 0.3125" W (0.8 cm)
