Native American, Plains Indians, ca. 1st half 20th century CE. Beautiful pair of beaded moccasins, lane-stitched with sinew and colorful glass trade beads, each decorated with a band of red, yellow, and black tipi motifs encircling the foot against a pink ground, as well as striations in red, yellow, pink, and black across the insteps, with leather soles, and rawhide tongues, and laces. These were probably made for a woman given their size. Size: 10.75" L x 3.75" W (27.3 cm x 9.5 cm)
