Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom, 20th Dynasty, ca. 1189 to 1077 BCE; late Third Intermediate to Late Dynastic Period, 25th to 30th Dynasty, ca. 744 to 343 BCE. A fine selection of 3 petite amulets from ancient Egypt. First is a hand-carved steatite scarab pendant that is covered in sage green glaze and depicts the throne name of Pharaoh Ramesses VI on the bottom. Next is a hand-carved chalcedony amulet exhibiting caramel, citrine, and burnt sienna hues of a wadjet (or wedjet, the Eye of Horus), an ancient phylactic symbol. The largest piece is a mold-formed faience pendant of a djed pillar with a flared foot, a narrow pedestal, and four tiered protrusions.
