Egypt, Late Period, Dynasties 26 through 30, ca. 662 to 315 BCE. Large section of a world class bronze Osiris. Osiris in standing pose wearing ostrich plumes to each side of his crown of upper and lower Egypt, with very finely detailed uraeus, long braided beard and wearing close-fitting cloak. He holds a crook and flail over his shoulders, and perhaps most spectacularly, his eyes are the original white stone. Gorgeous green brown patina. An incredible example! Custom base. Size: 4.6" L (11.7 cm).
