Description:

Egypt, Third Intermediate to Late Dynastic Period, 22nd to 31st Dynasty, ca. 900 to 332 BCE. A cast-bronze standing male figure with his left leg extended. His nude figure boasts slender hips and genitalia beneath a rounded abdomen, and he carries a small animal - perhaps a goat, gazelle, ibex, or another, smaller ungulate - across his shoulders while grasping the front legs in his right hand and the back legs in his left. His face is defined by incised almond-shaped eyes, a petite nose, full lips drawn into a slight smile, and cupped ears, all beneath a bald, rounded pate. Drilled vertically through right leg for display. Custom lucite display stand included. Size: 1.375" W x 3.7" H (3.5 cm x 9.4 cm); 5" H (12.7 cm) on included custom stand.
