Ancient Egypt, Late Dynastic to Ptolemaic Period, ca. 664 to 30 BCE. A group of 3 mold-formed faience amulets depicting 3 unique gods. The first amulet covered in dark blue glaze depicts the nude dwarf phylactery deity Pataikos; second is the kneeling god of wind Shu, with hands raised; and the largest depicts the jackal-headed god of the underworld Anubis. Size of largest (Anubis): 0.5" L x 0.44" W x 1.18" H (1.3 cm x 1.1 cm x 3 cm)

Provenance: private Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA collection; ex-Minerva Gallery; ex-Benjamin Vega, California, USA, acquired in 2006 to 2007; ex-Gene and Virginia George, brought to the USA from 1961 to 1966
