Egypt, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1479 to 1401 BCE. This necklace is composed of brilliant turquoise blue, green, and brown faience composition tube beads interspersed with ancient gold tubes, and a central green glaze steatite Royal plaque. One side of the plaque has a feather and the cartouche of Tuthmosis III; the other side has the King holding two serpents, one on either side. Beautiful and wearable! Size: 20" L (50.8 cm)
