Description:

Egypt, Late Dynastic to Ptolemaic Periods, ca. 664 to 30 BCE. A gorgeous necklace with six strands comprised of hundreds and hundreds of miniscule tubular and disc-shaped faience beads in hues of coral, russet, pale yellow, blue, blue-green, and green. There are also dozens of small metal spacer beads as well as sixty large and laterally-pierced disc-shaped metal beads. The clasp end has a loop comprised of several braided strands of string, and the fastening button is fashioned from an old Tibetan coin with a mythical animal in the center. Strung in modern times, and wearable for any occasion! Size: 34" L (86.4 cm).
