Ancient Egypt, Third Intermediate to Late Dynastic Period, 21st to 31st Dynasty, ca. 1070 to 332 BCE. A fabulous necklace comprised of over 200 ancient faience beads. The beads are a primarily disc and seed shaped of polychrome hues; greens, turquoise, white, beige, yellow, and russet. The variety of warm and cool tones makes for a lovely composition. 10 modern gold plated spacer beads are arranged along the length of the necklace and at the terminals before the modern lobster clasp. This is a wearable piece that would compliment many outfits as well as a versatile addition that could be worn with either casual or more elegant outfits. Size: 19.75" L (50.2 cm)
