Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A beautiful necklace strung with dozens of tubular and seed-form faience beads in hues of cream, cornflower blue, coffee-brown, and sage-green. The necklace is composed of two singular strands near the modern copper loop and ring clasp which then branch out into five separate strands along the midsection. An attractive and wearable example of ancient art meets modern style! Size (necklace): 24.125" L (61.3); size of largest bead: 0.25" L (0.6 cm).
