Ancient Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE; Ancient Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. 3rd to 1st century BCE. A set of 2 ancient artifacts including a hand-built pottery oil lamp from Hellenistic Greece and a turquoise-glazed faience amulet of the dwarf god Bes. The lamp features a vibrant red hue while the obverse of the Bes amulet is accentuated with applied trails of yellow glass. Size (lamp): 3.39" L x 1.95" W x 1.33" H (8.6 cm x 5 cm x 3.4 cm); (amulet): 0.33" L x 0.82" W x 1.58" H (0.8 cm x 2.1 cm x 4 cm)
