Description:

Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom Period, 18th to 20th Dynasty, ca. 1549 to 1069 BCE. A petite faience offering cup with a planar base, a cylindrical body, and a rounded rim, all covered in lustrous turquoise-hued glaze. The body displays two columns of hieroglyphic text painted in black, the left column with a faded royal cartouche encircled within a flat-based oval frame, and the rim is decorated with small black-painted tabs. Size: 1.25" W x 2.1" H (3.2 cm x 5.3 cm).
