Ancient Egypt, Third Intermediate to Late Dynastic Period, 21st to 31st Dynasty, ca. 1070 to 332 BCE. A set of wearable jewelry fashioned from Egyptian faience beads. First is a pair of teardrop-shaped earrings affixed to modern French hooks. Next is a bracelet with a T-bar clasp and a central faience pendant with incised striations. The largest is a necklace with multiple strands near the central faience pendant. Size (necklace): 19.625" L x 0.5" W (49.8 cm x 1.3 cm); (bracelet): 8.6" L x 0.75" W (21.8 cm x 1.9 cm); (each earring): 0.9" W x 2.3" H (2.3 cm x 5.8 cm)

  • Condition: All are wearable as shown and constructed in modern times. Faience beads and pendants are ancient; stringing and metal findings are modern. Expected minor abrasions and chips to some beads, with light fading to glaze pigment in some areas, otherwise intact and very good. Nice preservation to glaze pigment in most areas.
